Created in part by the caring vision of the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Third Order of St. Francis, Clare Oaks is one of the Chicago area's newest senior living options. The Sisters wanted to create an intimate retirement community to serve every aspect of a person: mind, body and spirit. They envisioned an inspiring environment where residents would live in close harmony with each other and continue to grow as individuals and as a community.
Clare Oaks is a continuing care retirement community, which means there are multiple lifestyle options available on one campus, including The Assisi Health Care Center that provides assisted living, skilled nursing, rehabilitation and memory care.
A one-time entrance fee that is 90% refundable and a monthly service fee provides you with your own private apartment or cottage residence, flexible dining plan options, extensive activities, fitness center, indoor pool and all the other advantages Clare Oaks has to offer.
Clare Oaks also provides a unique intergenerational opportunity to residents, as it shares a campus with The Clare Woods Academy, a special education facility for children and young adults. Also located on the campus is The Center, a retreat dedicated to achieving insight and understanding through discussion, meditation and time-honored physical activities.
The Sisters are the sponsors of Clare Oaks, and the community is governed by a Board of Directors. Co-operative Retirement Services of America (CRSA), headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee, is responsible for the development and management of Clare Oaks. Founded in 1989, CRSA is nationally recognized for excellence in providing exceptional senior living communities. |
