Job Title: CNA - Part Time/Full Time - AM/Night Shifts
Job Description: Assists the professional Nursing staff by providing Residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with established policies and procedures, including proper feeding, bathing, dressing, exercising, toileting, and general comfort of Residents. Completion of Illinois C.N.A. course and completion of competency test. CPR certified, and updated as necessary. Ability to read, write and speak English and understand verbal and written instructions as necessary. High school graduate preferred. Pleasantness, cheerfulness, tactfulness, patience, compassion, and courtesy are necessary when handling resident and their family members. Should possess initiative, dependability, and cooperativeness.

Job Title: Cooks (Full and Part Time)
Job Description: Under the supervision of the Executive Chef and/or their designee, the Cook is primarily responsible for the daily preparation, serving, and proper-portioned food for all residents, guests and employees in accordance with production sheets, standardized recipes, preparation methods, portion control, time schedules and sanitary standards to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care is maintained at all times. Must possess and exhibit a strong positive attitude toward customer service and have a genuine interest in geriatric care and uphold the philosophy of the community. Must have the ability to read, write and follow written and verbal directions, and be able to do basic math calculations needed in recipe and production requirements. Must have the ability to follow diet instructions and menus, know basic methods of preparing food quantities, and are familiar with seasoning requirements. Two-Three years Kitchen prep experience desired. High School graduate or equivalent preferred.

Job Title: Director of Dining Services - Full Time (Exempt)
Job Description: The Director of Dining Services is a hands-on manager of bright people who are committed to the values and Mission of Clare Oaks Retirement Community. From their spotless kitchen to their impeccable customer service, this professional team supports the entire continuum of care at Clare Oaks, providing the best in nutrition and convivium.
The selected candidate will be responsible for all dining services experiences provided to residents and guests, procure supplies and equipment, assists with budget preparation and operates within budgetary guidelines; work in accordance with Clare Oaks established policies and procedures and/or specific instructions in all aspects of job including overseeing selection, training, evaluation and discipline of personnel; development and implementation of policies and procedures concerning food service; performance of regular inspections for sanitation, orders, safety and proper performance of assigned duties;
Minimum of Associate Degree in Hospitality Services, Food Service Administration, or Executive Chef Status preferred, or an equivalent of five (5) years progressive experience in the administration of food service systems in long term and skilled care; computer literacy a plus; must have the ability to read, write and communicate in English, perform basic arithmetic and understand measurements.

Job Title: Housekeeper - Full Time Position
Job Description: Under the supervision of the Director of Campus Services and/or their designee, the Housekeeper is primarily responsible for the following: daily cleanliness and sanitation of all assigned common areas including hallways, rest rooms, dining rooms, offices and furniture in accordance with federal, state and local standards and guidelines. Must possess general knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment and procedures, infection control procedures and universal precautions. Must be able to read, write and follow written and verbal directions. High School education or GED preferred, but not required.

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) (full and part time)
Job Description: This position is a critical member of the Transitional Care Team and will work directly with front line C.N.A.s to provide for all the care needs of our residents who have been recently hospitalized and want to recover and return home. If you enjoy working on a unit with high volume of residents being admitted form the hospital and then transitions home after their goals are met and committed to service excellence for our customers and co-workers, then this could be the community for you to start your new career. We have 12 hour shifts available along with the day, pm & night shifts as well. Must have a current, valid Illinois RN license with a minimum of one year experience preferred. This position is a critical member of the Transitional Care Team and will work directly with front line C.N.A.s to provide individualized direct care and formalized therapy tasks according to the resident's needs and plan of care, including restorative programs, maintaining ROM and ambulation. If you enjoy working on a unit with high volume of residents being admitted from the hospital and then transitions home after their goals are met and committed to service excellence for our customers and co-workers, then this could be the community for you to start your new career. Requirements
Must be certified as a CNA by the State of Illinois and have a Restorative Aide certificate. Must have demonstrated teamwork, excellent attendance and position performance.
